The Car We Said No To
The Porsche 911 GT3 RS is the one car we have repeatedly told owners we could not help with. Not because of the roof. Not because our roof box was not good enough. The roof is flat, clean and free of rails, like any other 911. The problem sits behind it.
The swan neck wing on the RS is a working aerodynamic element, mounted to the body through two upright struts and shaped to a tolerance that leaves nothing spare. Anything attached near it has to respect that geometry exactly. And the rear glass, thinner than standard, offers no structural margin for a certified vacuum mount.
So the RS stayed off our compatibility list. That changes now.

Introducing the ARKYN GT3 RS Mount
The ARKYN GT3 RS Mount is its own version of the GT Mount, engineered to the millimetre against the dimensions of the 992 GT3 RS wing. It is not adjustable and it is not universal. It fits one car, the 992 generation GT3 RS, and it has been tested before release.
The system anchors in two places:
-
Vacuum mounts at the front
The FALCON-1 sits on the roof on four of our proven SeaSucker vacuum mounts, the same industrial grade system already running on the 911 across our sports car programme. No drilling, no bonding, no permanent fixture, and nothing touching the rear glass. -
A swan neck mount at the rear
A purpose built assembly runs back from the box and picks up the wing structure at defined points. This is the second anchor, and it is what keeps the whole thing rigid at speed.
Front on the roof, rear on the wing. The RS rear glass, the reason the car was excluded in the first place, is left alone entirely.

Why the GT3 Version Does Not Fit the RS
The GT3 Mount does not carry over to the RS. The RS wing has a different shape, sits at a different height and is built differently. Adapting the GT3 version would have meant compromises at every point where the mount meets the car, so the RS got its own version.
Which Cars It Fits
The GT3 RS Mount fits the 992 generation GT3 RS (992.1) only. It does not fit earlier GT3 RS generations such as the 991. For the 992 GT3 (992.1 and 992.2) there is the GT3 Mount, the second version of the ARKYN GT Mount.
Each set includes four SeaSucker vacuum mounts and the swan neck mount.
The Box Itself Is Unchanged
The FALCON-1 is made from 100% genuine carbon fibre, vacuum infused into a shell that stays rigid instead of flexing and drumming at speed. It measures 213 x 88 x 37 cm and holds 398 litres.
That 37 cm figure is the one RS owners tend to care about. The box sits low and long rather than tall, following the roofline instead of fighting it. From the side, the car still reads as a GT3 RS.
Available in classic weave or forged carbon, gloss or matte, chosen to sit alongside the factory carbon on the car rather than compete with it.

Why GT3 RS Owners Have Been Waiting for This
An RS is bought to be driven. Track weekends, alpine passes, the drive to the event rather than the trailer behind something else. And then you reach the point where the front boot has swallowed one soft bag and there is nowhere left for helmets, a race suit, tools, or two sets of skis.
Until now the choice was to take a different car or leave things behind. The GT3 RS Mount removes that choice without asking you to modify anything. When the trip is over, the mount comes off and the car is exactly as it was.
And if you still need one more argument at home for why it has to be a GT3 RS: there is finally room for the luggage of two.
Available Now
The ARKYN GT3 RS Mount is available now for the 992 GT3 RS (992.1). It is one of two versions of the ARKYN GT Mount, next to the GT3 Mount, and each comes in Shadow Black or Racing Red.
If you have a question about fitment on your car, reach out directly and tell us which GT3 RS you drive and what you have planned for it.

As with any roof mounted load, your maximum roof load is governed by the vehicle manufacturer's specification. We always recommend confirming it before loading.
